Baritone Model

The INFUSION mouthpiece is ALL about the complex, rich sound!
A baritone piece with lushness and fullness and power and punch when you need it. It doesn’t make you sound “gruff”  like a Berg. It’s got fullness and clarity to the sound, but if you want to add that gruffness, it will go there. Made from the finest German bar stock hard rubber and the hand finishing is done by the 2 most respected refacers out there: Brian Powell and Erik Greiffenhagen.

This was designed to be a mouthpiece that infuses the warmth and beauty of the best vintage Links and offers nice power like the vintage Bergs, without that gruffness often associated with those. You can put it there, but it doesn’t make you go there.

This mouthpiece will allow you many different Bari sax sounds from Carney to Mulligan,  Pepper Adams to Ronnie Cuber, Smulyan to Brignola…. and beyond. It allows the player immense flexibility to go many different directions from warm and beyond! It does NOT stick you in one sound corner.
A true workhorse for the bari player that doesn’t need an extreme piece and needs flexibility and versatility for many settings!
This is not meant to be a screamer Bari piece. It’s designed for a full sound and versatility. It’s got plenty of power and does not get thin or too bright at all.

This has the right amount of resistance to slot itself right between the Links and the Berg‘s. If you are looking for a super free blowing piece that is a super loud balls to the wall piece, you should get a high baffle mouthpiece. This wasn’t designed for that.
This was designed to be a GREAT all-around player that can be used for tons of different settings where SOUND is the most important thing!                                       I designed this baritone mouthpiece to have the same body diameter as my tenor mouthpieces so that you would have an over abundance of lig choices for yourself. I wish more mouthpiece makers would do that because baritones can be such different sizes.

Any ligature that fits a full sized hard rubber tenor mouthpiece like my 10MFAN tenors or hr Otto Link size tenor pieces, will work beautifully on the Infusion baritone mouthpiece.             The only ligature I do not like on my mouthpieces is the Vandoren Optimum…. they just run a little bit small.

Tons of flexibility to be able to do so much with this one mouthpiece.

Design: This mouthpiece was designed for the baritone player that wants a warm and full sound, but also the ability to get powerful with punch, but not be overkill. It’s an original design that gives you the warmth link in the power of a Berg mixed together! That’s really the best way to describe the sound. The design has nothing to do with either of those pieces. It’s got a very moderate medium height baffle with a large chamber. It was designed to use ligatures that fit full-size hard rubber tenor mouthpieces. This gives the baritone player so many ligature options!
